Tell us about your journey into design! How did you begin your career as a designer?
From making my own furniture for my Barbie dream house as a kid, I always knew I wanted to be an interior designer. I went to school for commercial design and worked at a large corporate design firm for 7 years before starting Lauren Elaine Interiors in 2016. The jump to residential design allows me to spend time deep in design details and develop close, personal relationships with my clients along the way.

Where do you look to find inspo: Traveling, old design books, and shelter magazines
Can you give us a glimpse into the process of bringing these beautiful bathrooms together?
We knew we wanted a clean, white space, so we started with a traditional freestanding tub, white marble tile, and polished nickel fixtures. We layered in some more traditional elements to keep all the white feeling warm and not too sterile like the custom warm wood mirrors and English sconces. We also upgraded the old unremarkable window above the tub to an oval since it serves as such a focal point above the tub.
